On Thursday the team of the Water Surveyor was there and searched for water all day and found it. This is extremely laborious work. From morning to evening they were out in the hot sun and collected their data.
The well construction company has confirmed for Tuesday next week. The fact is that we have to drill deep because our property is very rocky and the groundwater flows to the Nile.

As much as we are happy and grateful for your support, we ask for your prayers that everything works well and that we have water as soon as possible. And we also ask for prayers for the farmers in northern Uganda, this is the rainy season of the year when everything usually grows and thrives, in June the first corn harvest should be. They have sown, but the seedlings just take care of themselves and there are almost no irrigation systems. How this will turn out is very questionable. Here, too, the prices have already risen significantly due to the Corona and Ukraine crises. If there is still a failure or a partial failure of the harvest, it will be extremely difficult, especially for those who already have little.

Our current project

Classrooms and Accommodation

At our village school in Got Apwoyo, we need more classrooms and accommodation for teachers. Currently, we only have the capacity to teach children from kindergarten to third grade. Many of the children then have to stop attending school because their parents don't have the money to send them to boarding school.
To start with, we need €10,000 for one classroom and two basic teacher accommodations.
