Nursery School
The Nursery School is not located at Prezim but rather in the neighboring village “Got Apwoyo” (pronounced Got Afojo). This village is close to our hearts as there are very few opportunities for children to receive any form of good education there. With the start of the Nursery School we want to provide the first step of improving and empowering the children with the basic knowledge of how to rise up out of the depths of poverty.
Due to a lack of finances many Ugandan children in rural areas cannot afford to attend schools. Especially important is learning the English Language, as this will give the children far more opportunities than their parents ever had.
The Ugandan children generally have a huge desire to learn and this hunger also needs to be fed.
For this reason we started the Nursery school in the centre of Got Apwoyo. Its so great to see all the happy exited children every day walking to their beloved Kindergarten, called „Lakwat Maber“ the Good Shepherd.
