Update from northern Uganda

Four of our apprentices completed vocational school with flying colors. In the picture above you can see Susan in her workshop that we set up. She and her classmate are now seamstresses who can earn their own living. Two other young ones are bricklayers, they also already have work and can support themselves. In addition, three of our students completed secondary school with the best results, so they are now attending secondary school for two years longer in order to get their high school diploma.
The new school year started well in February and around 250 students from kindergarten to 7th grade are attending classes, 11 local teachers, 1 school director, a boarding school mother, a nurse and the kitchen team are at their side.  However, we still urgently need sponsors for a few children, one of whom is Francesco, who you can see in the picture above. As announced in the last newsletter, we have built a building with 5 residential units for employees. The house is finished, only the painting work has not yet been completed. We urgently need around 1500 euros so that we can collect the money
We had teams from Germany here twice who offered us their help in a wide variety of areas - from swimming lessons to biblical teaching to various technical operations - we are very grateful to them!
And we would be happy to welcome teams or individual helpers or employees/volunteers again this year. Please contact me directly about this.
